Voting
The design of the flag was crucial. The flag will be owned by literally hundreds of england fans, so it was only fair that everyone who contributed had a say on the appearence.

Unfortunately controversial images such as RAF targets, 1-5, etc were ruled out at an early stage as the flag needs ground clearance for each match -YES, it really is that big. Several preliminary polls on awayfans.co.uk helped distinguish the different options available during the official voting.

The voting took place during September 2005, resulting in the selection of We Still Believe as the central phrase to appear on the flag. Everyone who donated towards the project (prior to October 2005) was offered one vote on the final design. Individual votes can be found on the Roll of Honour, the graph below shows the overall results.

A total of 118 votes were cast, a single vote seperating the winner We Still Believe (55) from English & Proud (54). One Team One Dream (9) came a close third.
